Fair use and service limits
Limits protect every customer's capacity. Reaching one pauses new work; it never adds a usage fee.
- Report intake: up to 2,000 reports per organization per day, counting aggregate, TLS and failure reports together. Reports beyond the limit are refused and shown as missing coverage, not as healthy.
- Historical uploads: up to 5,000 items per organization per day.
- Platform investigations: up to 400 procedure steps per organization per day. Waiting work stays visible on its investigation.
- Your agents: up to 5,000 API requests per organization per day, visible at
/api/v1/msps/{id}/limits. - Notices: each notice is tried up to 5 times over about an hour and a half; an operator follows up failed billing and security notices.
- Notification emails: up to 30 per person and 300 per organization per UTC day, and 10 per person per 10 minutes. Case assignments, case corrections and sending-service decision requests addressed to you have a separate allowance of 20 per person per UTC day and leave the other allowances untouched. Further notices stay in MailGlo and arrive in the next daily digest. Account, security and billing notices always go out.
- Reported email: each plan includes a number of reported emails a month (see Pricing). Going over it never stops anything. When your count is above the allowance for two closed months in a row, your owners and billing contacts get one email and Billing shows a notice with the plan that fits your last three closed months. You choose whether to change plan. Your published DNS records keep serving, report intake continues and nothing is charged for the months already used. On the free plan, an operator also reviews the account to make sure the use is legitimate.
Limits may change; changes are published here. If one blocks legitimate work, email support@mailglo.com: only an operator can raise a limit, and nothing is charged automatically.
